Educational use only

ReadMyGen is an educational tool. The information provided — including SNP reports, population frequencies, and AI-generated interpretations — is for general educational and informational purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional or licensed genetic counsellor before making any health or medical decisions based on genetic information.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use ReadMyGen. By using the service you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Your account

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You may delete your account at any time, which will remove your stored data from our systems.

Payments

Paid access to the full report is a one-time purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store payment card details. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact support@readmygen.com within 14 days of purchase.

Limitation of liability

ReadMyGen is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any health decisions made on the basis of information provided by the service, errors or omissions in the genetic database, or service interruptions.

Our total liability for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Intellectual property

The ReadMyGen platform, database curation, and AI interpretation prompts are our intellectual property. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the service content without written permission.

Your genetic data belongs to you. We claim no ownership over it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Copenhagen, Denmark, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users.
